Cutting a LandCruiser frame in a home workshop, sleeving it, and keeping everything dead straight.
Extending a chassis is one of those jobs that sounds terrifying until you break it into steps. The maths comes first: where the body needs to sit, where the axles are, and what that does to rear overhang.
Without a proper chassis table, the whole game is controlling distortion. I built a simple jig, made the cut, sleeved the frame internally and welded in short staggered passes to keep heat down and the rails true.
It's the kind of task where measuring obsessively beforehand saves you from an expensive mistake you can't un-weld.
